A suspected poacher was reportedly found trampled to death by the elephant he was hunting at a national park in Zimbabwe.
Local police discovered the bloodied remains of Solomon Manjoro after what appears to be a poaching trip gone wrong, the Telegraph reports.
Manjoro and another man, Noluck Tafuruka, allegedly entered the Charara National Park in April armed with two rifles and intent on hunting down big game.
But one proud pachyderm would not be gunned down -- it is believed an elephant trampled Manjoro to death before the suspected poacher could kill the beast.
The demand for ivory in Asia has fueled poaching deaths of Africa's elephants in recent months, according to the Associated Press.
Tafuruka and another man, Godfrey Shonge, have since been charged with contravening a section of the Parks and Wildlife Act and possessing an illegal firearm, according to Zimbabwe's Sunday Mail.
