Report: Tour bus carrying 59 children crashes in Germany; multiple injuries reported

German police say a tour bus carrying 59 children has crashed near the eastern city of Erfurt, causing multiple injuries.

Police told the dpa news agency Friday the bus was on its way toward Dresden when it went onto an embankment and tipped over.

Police told dpa the exact number of injuries was not immediately clear and that rescue crews were on the scene. They had no further details.
