Report: Hand-grenade explosion during training drill at Saudi military academy kills 1

Saudi Arabia's official news agency says a hand grenade exploded during a training session at a military academy in the capital Riyadh, killing one cadet and injuring nine.

The agency quoted an unnamed defense ministry official as saying the explosion was on Tuesday at the King Abdul-Aziz military academy. The official said one of the nine students injured was in serious condition.
