Official: At least 2 dead in Kenya after boat with 200 capsizes after collision with boat

A police official in Kenya says at least two people have died and many are reported missing after a boat with about 200 passengers collided with a fishing boat on Lake Victoria.

The region's police chief, Willy Lugusa, said Wednesday that the passenger boat was headed for Kiwa Island from Remba Island when the incident happened at about 2 a.m. Wednesday (2300 GMT Tuesday).

Lugusa says the bodies of two children have been recovered.
