NATO says a roadside bomb has killed one of its service members in southern Afghanistan.
It said the attack happened Friday. The coalition did not provide the service member's nationality or any other details about the attack.
So far this month, five members of the U.S.-led international coalition have died in Afghanistan. This year, 13 coalition service members have died.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack.
Bombs in vehicles, along roadsides and carried by suicide bombers are the Taliban's weapons of choice and the leading cause of civilian casualties in Afghanistan.
