Indonesian police arrest 4 more suspected militants

Published March 02, 2016

Associated Press

Indonesia's anti-terror squad has arrested four more people suspected of being linked to deadly attacks in the capital in January.

National police spokesman Maj. Gen. Anton Charliyan said Wednesday that the four knew about the plot one month before the Jan. 14 bombings in downtown Jakarta killed eight people, including four attackers.

Two of the suspects were arrested in Central Java and the two others in East Java.

A total of 43 suspects have now been arrested in connection with the attack, which began with a suicide bombing inside a Starbucks cafe.
