Hoverboard thief steals crate of energy drink, doesn't break a sweat

London's Metropolitan Police have released CCTV footage of a man who was seen riding a ‘hoverboard’ into a shop in the suburb of Mitcham in London.

The man who casually cruised into the store on September 6 allegedly stole a crate of Lucozade energy drink and just rolled away.

Police are yet to identify the man and are asking the public to help them find him.

‘Hoverboards’ are actually motorized, self-balancing skateboards and are a hot ticket item at the moment offering a Segway-like experience.

Riders stand on the boards’ two foot pads and redistribute their weight forward and backwards to move in those directions.
