The daughter of a founder of Cuba's Ladies in White criticized the dissident group's current leader Thursday in the latest sign of division within the dissident group.
Laura Maria Labrada said she would not permit current leader Berta Soler to use her mother's name, saying she rejects Soler's management and the expulsion of group members.
Labrada's mother, Laura Pollan, who helped found the group and was a leader, died in 2011.
Labrada also said Soler will no longer be able to use her parents' home, which historically has functioned as the Ladies in White' meeting place and headquarters.
The split came after video surfaced showing group members shouting down another longtime member in a meeting at the home.
