NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) — Authorities in the Bahamas have charged two tourists from Florida with killing a Jamaican during what police say was a drug deal gone bad.

Police say Clive Tomlinson was fatally shot early Wednesday in Bimini.

They have charged 27-year-old Daniel Andres Ayo and 39-year-old Luis Mendez in the killing.

The two men and another Floridian, 43-year-old Jorge Luis Paez, also face drug possession and weapons charges. Police say they were carrying 1.6 ounces of marijuana with intent to sell.

None of the suspects entered a plea during a hearing Friday. Their attorneys declined comment.
