QUEBEC CITY, Quebec (AP) — A small plane has crashed into a residential backyard in Quebec City, killing all seven people aboard.

Police spokesman Francois Bouchard said Wednesday that no survivors have been found.

The plane was heading for Sept-Iles, Quebec, about 370 miles (600 kilometers) northeast of Quebec City, when it crashed about a mile (2 kilometers) from the airport, landing 300 feet (100 meters) from a house. No one on the ground was injured.

Officials are not releasing the victim's identities until relatives are notified.

Aviation specialist Yvan-Miville Deschesnes says the pilot of the twin engine Beechcraft Air plane called the control tower shortly before 6 a.m. to report an engine problem.

The plane is operated by Aeropro, a company that runs business and recreational charters.

The Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
