5 European tourists die in Peruvian bus accident

Police in Peru say a tourist bus has collided head-on with a truck loaded with cement, killing five European travelers and both drivers. Twenty-eight people have been injured.
The highway patrol in the Puno region of southeastern Peru says four of the dead tourists were from the Netherlands and one from Belgium.
Police say the accident occurred on a highway in the Chacachaca area near the border with Bolivia. The bus was carrying tourists from the Bolivian town of Desaguadero to the city of Puno in Peru.
