Victims of Kentucky house fire identified as 4-year-old twins

Published October 03, 2016

Associated Press

A coroner in eastern Kentucky has identified the two children who died in a house fire last week as 4-year-old twin brothers.

Knott County Coroner Jeff Blair told media on Monday that Marcus Caden Alexander Waddles and Jonathan Braxton Gage Waddles died Friday in the blaze at a home in the Lackey community.

Blair says the boys' mother, stepfather and another child were able to get out of the home.

Kentucky State Police fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze.
