The Latest on shootings by two suspects that left five people wounded in downtown San Diego (all times local):

10:05 a.m.

Police say they are searching for two gunmen suspected of shooting five people in downtown San Diego and then running off.

Lt. Brent Williams says two young men wearing dark colored hoodies walked up to three men and a woman on a street corner at about 11 p.m. Monday and opened fire before walking around the corner and shooting a fifth person. Police say all five of the victims were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Williams says investigators are looking at whether gang violence was involved, but so far they have not found any evidence of that or other motivation.

He encourages anyone to call police if they have information.

Officials say multiple shootings in downtown San Diego left five people injured.

San Diego police say in a statement early Tuesday that two men shot and wounded three men and a woman on a street corner at about 11 p.m. Monday. A fifth person was shot and wounded nearby.

Police say all five of the victims were taken to hospitals with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Officials have not identified the shooting victims.

The suspects were last seen running from the area where the shootings happened.

No additional details about the shootings have been released.
