Milwaukee police say a teacher's aide was arrested after pushing a student to the floor in an incident caught on video.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1XLYvBO ) reports the incident happened Wednesday at Bay View High School. The unidentified aide was arrested on suspicion of physical abuse of a child.
Police say the student was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Milwaukee Public Schools spokesman Tony Tagliavia said the staff member faces disciplinary action, which includes possible termination. He says the aide was removed from the classroom as soon as school administration knew about the incident.
Tagliavia called the incident "deeply disturbing."
The incident remains under investigation.
