Published March 15, 2016

Authorities are searching for two men after it appeared that one of them may have tried to abduct a child at the National Air and Space Museum.

U.S. Park Police on Tuesday released surveillance videos showing two men wanted in connection with the March 3 incident, which took place near an entrance to the popular Washington museum.

Park Police Sgt. Anna Rose says a man approached a group of children, grabbed a child's hand and started to walk away before a chaperone yelled at him. Rose says the man fled and boarded a shuttle bus.

He is described as a white man with brown hair who speaks with an eastern European accent. Authorities say he was seen at the museum with a white, heavyset man with gray hair.
