Police Friday released the name of a man wanted in connection to a shooting at a roller rink just north of Detroit that left five people injured.
Investigators believe Robert Lee Green, 18, was one of three gunmen who randomly opened fire on a private holiday party early Friday at Rolladium in Waterford Township, WXYZ-TV reported.
Police said at a media conference that they believe the three men were at the party and, after two fights broke out as the event was finishing, the men left and re-entered through the venue's exit doors.
Waterford Township police chief Dan McCaw said the shooters sprayed the roller rink indiscriminately, striking five people.
"All three were armed, all three were shooting," McCaw said, indicating the gunmen held the firearms sideways.
"You see them running and ducking, shooting indiscriminately into the crowd," he added, according to the Detroit Free Press.
A fuzzy videotape from the roller rink shows the three men at the event prior to the shooting, McCaw said. Police surmise that the suspected gunmen knew someone at the party or were party crashers.
Authorities are seeking cell phone video, photos and other information that could lead them to the suspects.
The other two suspects are believed to be aged in their late teens or early 20s. Police have also offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the three men.
Two 20-year-old women, two men aged 20 and 21, and a 23-year-old woman all suffered non-life threatening injuries, with four shot in the hands, arms or legs.
One of the men suffered a gunshot wound through his torso.
All the victims were listed in good condition.
