Police: Man walks up to woman, 2 children and shoots

Baltimore police say two children and a woman were shot by a man who walked up on them while they were outside.

The Baltimore Police Department posted on its Facebook page that the shooting happened Saturday at 8:10 p.m. about a mile and half northwest of downtown Baltimore.

Police say a 60-year-old woman was shot in right leg, an 8-year-old boy was shot in the left leg and a 4-year-old girl was shot in the right foot. All three victims were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the gunman then fled on foot.

Detectives are investigating the incident.
