District of Columbia police say they've made an arrest in the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old boy at the same Metro subway station where another teen was fatally shot last month.

Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck tells The Washington Post (http://wapo.st/1Vjqx9K ) an 18-year-old man from northeast Washington has been arrested in the Monday morning stabbing at the Deanwood Metro station. He says the suspect's name would be announced at a news conference Tuesday morning.

Police have said 15-year-old John Rufus Evans III of northeast Washington was stabbed at the station and was unconscious when he was taken to a hospital, where he died. Police released surveillance photos Monday afternoon of a person of interest in the shooting.
