The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook as severe thunderstorms are expected to bring damaging wind gusts and large hail Sunday to several cities in the Midwest.
The weather service says the storms will stretch from the Great Lakes to the Central and Southern Plains, and that the chance of isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
St. Louis, Chicago, Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Detroit are among some of the cities that could be affected by the weather, The Weather Channel reports.
In Chicago, the storms are forecasted to last throughout the day and could continue into Monday morning.
In Detroit, storms could bring winds in excess of 60 mph, Fox 2 reports.
