Man sought in fatal Baltimore fire surrenders to police

Baltimore police say a man wanted in a firebombing that left two teenagers dead and six people injured has surrendered to authorities.

Spokesman T.J. Smith said at a news conference that 26-year-old Antonio Tyrell Wright contacted the department Monday and made arrangements to turn himself in near the scene of Saturday's fire in East Baltimore.

Police say Wright threw two Molotov cocktails deliberately into the residence in the 1200 block of Greenmount Avenue.

Firefighters found the bodies of two teenagers, 19-year-old Shi-Heem Sholto and 17-year-old Tyrone James in the home.

Wright is charged with first-degree murder, assault and arson.

Six others, ranging in age from 4 to 38, were hospitalized. Smith says that one of the victims remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
