An unidentified man died at the Russian Consulate in New York City Tuesday after he reportedly fell.

Police told Fox News they found the 63-year-old man "unconscious and unresponsive" with unknown trauma to his head.

The New York Post reported he was a security official, but did not name him. He was found unconscious just before 7 a.m., police said.

Medical crews pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police told the Post he may have suffered a medical episode before falling. Investigators said they were looking into a specific cause of death.
