Jared Fogle gained 30 pounds in prison from overeating, report says

Former Subway pitchman-turned-prisoner Jared Fogle has gone from selling six-inch sandwiches to adding six inches to his waistline.

Fogle, three months into a 16-year sentence for possessing child porn and having sex with underage prostitutes, has gained about 30 pounds already by snacking on sweets, a prison insider told In Touch Weekly.

“Jared’s breakfast is usually Frosted Flakes with fruit or oatmeal with cake,” the source said. “He loves ‘cake day’ in the dining hall twice a week, and he buys Honey Buns by the box, as well as other pastries, in the commissary on his weekly shopping day. He’s been known to eat an entire box of eight at one sitting.”

The insider told In Touch that Fogle is often taunted for being a “dirty child rapist.” His attempts to speak up for himself allegedly have not gone well.

“The inmate slapped him across the cheeks several times and made his face red,” the source said. “Jared just stood there stunned, then ran out of the gym.”
