Former state university dean's lawyer challenges accuser's credibility in sex abuse lawsuit

A defense attorney is trying to undermine the credibility of a man who accuses a former state university administrator in northeastern Pennsylvania of forcing him to perform oral sex when he was a student.

The accuser is now 33. He says that Isaac Sanders abused him at East Stroudsburg University a decade ago.

He is among three men who filed a civil rights lawsuit against Sanders. Sanders' attorney Harry Coleman attacked the accuser's credibility during cross-examination Wednesday in Scranton federal court.

Sanders denies wrongdoing. He has never been charged with the crime.

He was fired from East Stroudsburg in 2008 following an investigation into his conduct.
