Ferry gets stuck on sandbar in river near pier; no injuries

Police say a ferry has become lodged on a sandbar in New York's East River.
It happened Monday evening about 100 feet from a pier near the South Street Seaport in lower Manhattan.
Police and fire rescue units are at the scene.
No injuries have been reported.
