Delaware man accused of trying to arrange 2 killings as revenge for cousin's death

A federal grand jury in Maryland has indicted a man accused of trying to arrange two killings as revenge for the death of a cousin.

Thirty-one-year-old Marquis Antwan Mack of Dover, Delaware, was charged Monday with using a telephone and interstate travel in a murder for hire. He's being held without bond after a judge found he's a flight risk and poses a threat to the community.

Mack's attorney didn't immediately answer a request for comment Tuesday morning.

A federal investigator says in court records that Mack met three times with an undercover officer in Queenstown and Centreville, Maryland, and at the Dover Downs Casino to arrange two killings. The investigator says the planned killings were in retaliation for the August shooting death of Mack's cousin in Dover, which was found to be in self-defense.
