A Connecticut couple had their two teen daughters arrested after coming home early from a weekend trip and finding an underage drinking party going on at their house.

The Hartford Courant reports that the Glastonbury High School students face charges of permitting a minor to possess alcohol. The girls' names have not been released.

Police say the girls, ages 15 and 16, hosted three parties between Oct. 11 and 13, with 15 to 20 people attending each night. The third party was broken up when the parents arrived home a day early.

Glastonbury police spokesman Agent James Kennedy told the newspaper that the parents' decision to call police was "the right thing to do."
