The Coast Guard rescued a 68-year-old man having chest pains from a charter boat north of Sitka on Sunday.
Juneau's Coast Guard command center received a report from the Western Profit, a 62-foot charter vessel, that the man was in distress, the Coast Guard said in a news release Monday.
A Sitka Air Station MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew medevacked the man from the vessel, which was in Deep Bay, about 25 miles north of Sitka.
