BP 'Feeling More Comfortable,' But Testing Bubbles Seen Near Well Cap

NEW ORLEANS-- After nearly 48 hours of testing its new well cap, BP says there's no sign of oil leaking into the Gulf of Mexico.
But a company official says samples will be taken of bubbles seen on video. BP vice president Kent Wells says bubbles are common underwater, but they want to make sure it's not a sign of gas escaping from the well.
Wells says pressure inside the cap is slightly higher than levels yesterday. Rising pressure is a sign that no new leaks have opened, while falling pressure would indicate a new leak.
Wells says while "the test is not over," his team is "feeling more comfortable" with the results.
As for what happens once the 48-hour test period ends this afternoon, BP says that call will be made by the Obama administration.
