Authorities: Bodies of 4 adults found in basement of townhome in Ohio, all were shot in head

An official in northeast Ohio says four adults have been found dead in the basement of a townhome.

The head of the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority says the four bodies were discovered Thursday on Akron's northeast side.

Police are telling media outlets that two men and two women had been shot in the head.

Housing Authority executive director Tony O'Leary says police told his office that no weapons were found in the townhome.

He says the units are normally quiet and don't have a history of crime.
