Attorney for Ohio autistic boy says police have identified people behind ice bucket prank

Published January 08, 2015

Associated Press

An attorney for the family of an autistic teenager who had feces and bodily fluids dumped on him when he thought he was participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge says police know who the perpetrators are.

Various celebrities are offering reward money to find those responsible for dumping the bucket on the 15-year-old boy. But attorney Dean Valore and Bay Village schools superintendent Clint Keener said on Monday police have identified the people involved in the prank.

Police have said the pranksters could face delinquency charges. Keener says the school district is limited in what it can do because the prank occurred before the start of the school year and wasn't on school property.
