2 New York men arrested in vandalism that left more than 100 vehicles with broken windows

Published May 03, 2016

Associated Press

Two men have been arrested in vandalism that left more than 100 vehicles with broken windows in New York.

Officials say 22-year-old Garrett Disarno, of Berne in Albany County, and 23-year-old Clarence Hagadorn, of Mechanicville in Saratoga County, pleaded not guilty Wednesday in Schenectady City Court to multiple counts of criminal mischief.

Police say the men used a BB gun to shoot out the windows of more than 100 vehicles parked on city streets April 22. Police say the windows on several businesses also were damaged.

Both men are being held on $44,000 bail in the county jail in neighboring Saratoga County, where they're charged with vandalizing vehicles in two trailer parks.

It wasn't immediately clear if the men had lawyers who could comment.
