VOTERS USHER IN FREE-MARKET DEFENDERS MIA LOVE AND TIM SCOTT
MICHELLE FIELDS: When it comes to liberals everything centers around race, it centers around gender. But this election shows that the American people completely rejected that. They rejected the war on women message, they rejected Sandra Fluke in California, they rejected Wendy Davis, they rejected all of those race-baiting ads that the Democrats put out there, and instead they went and voted for people like Mia Love. Not because of the color of her skin, but because she represents self-reliance, and she represents free-market ideas.
JUAN WILLIAMS: You had a strong turn-out, much stronger in fact in terms of white vote than you did in 2012. But let me just back up something Michelle was saying. I just think it's crazy that the NAACP would not celebrate Tim Scott, Mia Love, would not make a point of saying hey this is breaking through ceilings; it doesn't matter if you're a conservative a liberal a libertarian.
JONATHAN HOENIG: People's race doesn't determine their ideas, so I disagree with Juan. And I think after six years of the Republicans talking about how their criticisms of Obama is not about race, I think we do ourselves; the GOP does themselves a real disservice by even mentioning race.
WAYNE ROGERS: The answer to this whole thing is not about what the Republicans did right or that the Republicans embrace something or that the Republicans are the party for the free-market. What this is about is a rejection of what the Democrats did. It's a rejection of all of the policies of the president. That's what it's a about. It was a vote against the president not a vote for the Republicans.
LATEST GITMO RELEASE FUELING NEW CONTROVERSY
JONATHAN HOENIG: Monstrous, Eric. We legitimize in these animals by trying to deal with them rationally at all. I mean how can you deal rationally with somebody who cuts American heads off? Who's declared war on America? And how can you trust a government that trusts these enemies of America?
WAYNE ROGERS: This whole thing, you think about the poor guy who was down in Mexico, you know, who was a member of the armed services and somebody who we should've been rescuing a long time ago. What about the people in Benghazi? In the meantime they've sacrificed those people, the ambassador and the people in Benghazi; there was no mention of that. But yet they're going to swap these guys who are running Isis and those things?
JUAN WILLIAMS: How can you negotiate if everything is public? Nixon could have never broken through to China. I mean, you know it was just impossible. Regan, remember, was trying to do stuff to try to free hostages. Every president has to have some degree of privacy in order to be executive.
MICHELLE FIELDS: We should not be sending press releases over to terrorist. Letting them know what they're doing before us the American people find out about it. And we shouldn't be releasing these people. 20-30 detainees that have been released have actually joined Isis, joined the militant groups in Syria. Why are we doing this? They're not going to go home and be peaceful and join a cooking class; they're going to fight against us.
NEW DEBATE OVER "PC POLICE" AS GROUP BLASTS LATEST ROB LOWE TV AD
JUAN WILLIAMS: Man where's our funny bone? I mean gosh I couldn't be on this show if I didn't have a sense of humor. I just think this is so crazy. You know, having been fired for just saying something that on my mind, I don't get it. I just think these people are PC crazy.
WAYNE ROGERS: I'm not only not offended by it Eric-- excuse me I got to go to the bathroom, I'll see you guys later.
MICHELLE FIELDS: I think the fact that there's a shy bladder association is more embarrassing than having a bladder problem. This is America okay. We fought communism. And now what are we doing? Were upset because we have to create associations to protect the feelings of people who have bladder problems? Give me a break.
JONATHAN HOENIG: It's a joke, Eric. That's the whole point. Just because you're offended by something doesn't mean that it necessitates a response. All humor is destructive on some level. This is was a very minor joke and I think the PC police would be best to just forget about it and move on.
