Vint Cerf, co-developer of the TCP/IP protocols that run the Internet, recently toured the labs at Consumer Reports’ Yonkers, New York, headquarters. After the tour, Cerf—recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and currently Google’s Chief Internet Evangelist—sat down with Electronics Editor Glenn Derene to discuss what it means to be a consumer of the modern Internet and how society will change as more products add embedded intelligence and connectivity.
