Emergency services say two small planes crashed in mid-air near Coventry airport, killing five people Sunday.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service said the people were killed after a collision between two small planes near Coventry, about 90 miles northwest of London.
According to the U.K's Sky News, four of the victims were on one craft, and one was on the other.
The crash reportedly occurred when the planes made their final approach to the airport in Coventry, Sky News said.
No further details of the crash were immediately available. Police and fire services were also at the scene Sunday afternoon.
