Fresh off the summer buzz surrounding his role in “Indiana Jones 4," actor Shia LaBeouf says his new film “Eagle Eye" is similar to real life, in that it’s like “living in a fishbowl," Parade Magazine reported.
LaBeouf compares "Eagle Eye," a "Big Brother" thriller where the enemy that can infiltrate telephones, TVs and computers, to living with the constant invasion of his privacy since he has reached superstardom.
"I kind of live in a fishbowl, but what people don't realize is that I'm not the only one," LaBeouf told Parade. “The irony is they say to me, 'I don't know how you can deal with being followed and recorded everywhere you go.' And while they're saying that they may be getting recorded."
The 22-year-old chalks up his amazing rise to success on "riding coattails."
"I mean, come on, 'Indy Jones' was going to be a success whether I was in it or not. You could have put Freddie Prinze Jr. in my part," LaBeouf told Parade. "Put Frankie Muniz in 'Transformers' and it still would have been a hit. So I realize how lucky I've been."
