Sante Kimes Guilty of Businessman's Murder

A woman already convicted of killing an elderly New York socialite with the help of her son was found guilty Wednesday of orchestrating the murder of a Los Angeles businessman six years ago.

The Superior Court jury convicted Sante Kimes (search), 71, of the first-degree murder of David Kazdin (search).

The panel also found to be true special allegations that the crime was carried out for financial gain and that the victim was killed because he was a witness to another crime.
