Shona Juliet-Adams, 41, whose agency offers the look-alikes for about $1,174 an hour, said she has been receiving "threatening phone calls and death threats."
McCann, a British citizen, disappeared before her fourth birthday while on vacation with her parents in Portugal, and the case has garnered international interest.
One of the look-alikes, American girl Kelsey Lynn Kudla, 3, is reported to have a "compelling" resemblance, the Daily Mail reports.
Kudla could earn millions were she to star as Madeleine in any film about the girl’s disappearance, Adams said.
A spokesman for Kate and Gerry McCann, Madeleine’s parents, said the scheme is "disgraceful, hurtful and offensive."
