Eliot Spitzer’s alleged call girl Ashley Dupre has already appeared on camera for “Girls Gone Wild” — but it seems she'll be back with the provocative production company on June 25 ... in the courtroom.
Dupre recently filed a $10 million lawsuit against Joe Francis’ infamous company with claims that he falsely advertised that she performed for its cameras, and falsely advertised its offer to her of a $1 million contract. In her lawsuit, Dupre claims that Francis and his company ruined her reputation.
To counter her claims, Francis' defense team called on Dupre on Monday to testify under oath — in a deposition to be videotaped on June 25 — to explore her work history and reported employment with Emperor’s Club VIP.
“It’s hard to imagine how anyone could actually ruin a hooker’s reputation,” Francis said in a statement. “But what I really don’t understand is, out of the whole Eliot Spitzer scandal, how I’m the only person who ends up in a courtroom.”
Carmen Electra's Public Makeout Session; Shar Jackson Wants to Educate K-Fed on Safe Sex
Carmen Electra may not have had too much luck with relationships in the past, but the former "Baywatch" babe isn't afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve again — or her lips for that matter.
Electra and her Korn fiancé Rob Patterson were spotted getting particularly hot and heavy at Target's Converse One Star Movie Awards after-party in West Hollywood on Sunday night.
"They were making out pretty much the entire time and were totally all over each other," an eyewitness said.
When she wasn't lip-locking with Patterson, the obviously lovestruck Electra was reportedly showing off her stunning black-diamond engagement ring to fans and friends.
Speaking of MTV, we're told rising rapper Shar Jackson was making good use of the gifting suites, where stars go to get (even more) free stuff. But what's interesting is her desire to teach her ex, Kevin Federline, a thing or two about safe sex.
While hangin' out at the GBK Lounge, Jackson apparently grabbed a shirt by It Condom that read "When in doubt, pull out!" and announced loudly that she was giving one to the Fed-Ex. Hmmm, so was that a dig at Fed or the Britster?
David Hernandez was also there (yes, that "Idol" fave who was eliminated soon after it was exposed that he was previously an exotic dancer). He apparently poked fun at himself by giving an impromptu performance on the Platinum Stage stripper poles. Charming.
But when stars get going with the swag, it seems some turn a little sour — which is reportedly what happened on Friday at Kari Feinstein’s Private Style Lounge in Bel Air. According to an insider, actor Jesse Metcalfe was given a pair of not-so-cheap Solstice sunglasses, but his guest, model Sara Mohr, wasn’t gifted with the goods reserved for celebs-only.
“She got really upset and, in turn, he got really upset and threatened to go give his pair back,” our source said.
An event organizer then had to smooth over the situation by going over to the vendor and requesting that Sara get a pair too. Apparently it was all smiles after that as the comely couple even played ping-pong with their shades. Hmmm, does anyone else smell gluttony?
Verne Troyer Gets Tattoo of Heath Ledger’s Writing
Verne Troyer (better known as "Mini-Me") was one of the last people to speak to the late Heath Ledger as the two were working together in London on "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus." Troyer recently told Pop Tarts that he and the Australian actor had become "very close" and he "learned a lot" about Ledger's trials and tribulations.
But even though Verne's appearance at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards was to support his "Love Guru" and "Austin Powers" co-star Mike Myers (who was hosting), the Tinseltown tiny had Heath on his mind.
“I look forward to seeing ['The Dark Knight']. I want to see Heath’s work — he’s very special,” Troyer told Tarts. The tiny actor then revealed a small love heart he had tattooed on his thumb in Ledger's legacy.
“It’s actually his writing — it’s just something I really wanted to do,” he said.
Lucy Liu Has 'Moves' Most Men Are Scared to See
Lucy Liu is stunning, talented and smart — but that's not why most men who come into contact with her get so intimidated.
The actress apparently has quite a history of practicing the martial arts of kali/escrima/silat (knife-and-stick fighting), in addition to having trained heavily in kung fu for "Charlie's Angels" and "Kill Bill."
But when it comes to the men in her life, it seems those skills are always a touchy topic.
"They [guys] always bring the issue up," Liu told Pop Tarts with a cheeky laugh while promoting the new flick "Kung Fu Panda." "But luckily for them, I don't always bring out the moves, but guys do recognize me for the stunt and action work I’ve done in the past. You should be able to be really fit and even a death machine if you wanted to, but ultimately just because you can hurt doesn’t mean you would."
Rather then spend all her spare time making men insecure, Liu actually channels most of her off-hours energy to UNICEF and building awareness around the issue of clean drinking water.
"Water truly is the center of our world. Kids can’t go to school if they have to spend all day looking for water, and we can’t have proper medical care and agriculture without it," she said sadly. "Our work can never be done."
And it seems neither can "Charlie's Angels."
"We haven't really been focusing on 'Charlie's Angels the Third,'” she said, adding that the possibility is always there.
