Mother, Son Accused of Hauling $1 Million in Cocaine Down Arkansas Highway in Pickup

Authorities say a mother and her adult son were arrested for allegedly hauling $1 million in cocaine after Arkansas State Police pulled over their pickup for weaving on Interstate 40.

Troopers found 18 pounds of cocaine hidden in a compartment above the vehicle's transmission in the Thursday night search.

Arrested were Oralia Villarreal Morales, 42, and her son, 19-year-old Reginald Morales, both of Sullivan City, Texas.

Investigators said the mother and son were headed to Jackson, Tenn.

Oralia Morales and Reginald Morales are each charged with felony possession with intent to deliver cocaine and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. Oralia Morales is also charged with careless driving.
