Mosques Vandalized in New Zealand

Vandals in New Zealand (search) have have attacked four mosques in Auckland (search), leaving windows smashed and walls splashed with graffiti.

Police declined to say whether the attacks were linked to subway and bus bombings in London Thursday, which killed at least 49 people and injured hundreds more.

But Prime Minister Helen Clark (search) immediately condemned the attacks, linking them to retaliation for the London terror bombings. She said it was wrong to target Muslims for retaliation.
