Millions of Americans will spend Thursday watching a football game with a belly full of turkey, and stock traders will be no exception.

The New York Stock Exchange and the Nasdaq, open for full days on Wednesday, are both closed on Thanksgiving. The NYSE will trade on Friday, but closes early, at 1 pm ET. Regular hours at the Nasdaq will also be curtailed to 1 pm ET.

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange closes at noon ET on both Wednesday and Friday, and is closed on Thanksgiving Thursday.

Overseas markets, such as the London Stock Exchange, will operate normally during the American holiday.
