Hallmark may have a greeting card for just about every occasion, but maybe not one for an ex-president recovering from bypass surgery (search) a month after his birthday.
On Monday, the House got around to wishing former President Clinton (search) a happy birthday. The 42nd president turned 58 on Aug. 19, when Congress was not in session.
The resolution by Rep. Carolyn Maloney (search), D-N.Y., was approved on a voice vote.
The former president underwent quadruple bypass heart Sept. 6 at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia. He was released Friday and is recuperating at his home in suburban Chappaqua, N.Y.
