Florida Man Charged With Crashing Car Into Neighbor's House as Dispute Turns Ugly

Authorities say a dispute between neighbors got out of hand when a Kissimmee man crashed his car into the house next door.

Police say Lugene L. Akins drove his 1992 Honda Thursday into the home of Corey Hill, who told police he was asleep in his living room when the sound of the crash woke him up. Hill said he was then tackled Akins but eventually managed to force his attacker outside. Hill's brother then restrained Akins until police arrived.

Akins faces counts of burglary with assault and burglary of a dwelling. He was being held without bail.
