A small pre-dawn earthquake shook northeastern Nevada early Tuesday, but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The magnitude-3.5 temblor struck near Elko, Nev., just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
It was centered eight miles north of Carlin and 15 miles west of Elko at a depth of 7.4 miles.
An Elko County sheriff's deputy said there has been no word yet of any damages or injuries.
