A bus collided with a sport-utility vehicle and plunged down a mountain ravine in southern China, killing six people and injuring 30.
The official Xinhua News Agency reports the crash happened Monday afternoon on a highway in the Guangxi region. It says at least 51 people were on the bus, citing police in Hechi city near the crash.
Sixteen passengers and the driver of the SUV were seriously injured.
Road accidents are common in China because of overloaded and unsafe vehicles, poor road conditions and bad driving habits.
