Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer doesn't care much for Adrian Peterson's opinion.

After losing to the Seattle Seahawks, 38-7, on Sunday, the All-Pro running back said the Vikings were "outcoached" in Week 13, according to Jason Gonzalez of the Star-Tribune. Perhaps sensing his pointed words, Peterson also mentioned that the Vikings were "outplayed" in the crushing loss.

On Monday, Zimmer responded to the criticism from his star running back.

"I don't really worry about other people's opinions," Zimmer said, per ESPN's Ben Goessling. "I just worry about what I think."

Peterson, who currently leads the NFL in rushing with 1,182 yards, carried the ball only eight times against the Seahawks. Backup running back Jerick McKinnon actually played more snaps than Peterson, as the Vikings struggled to find a passing game. The result was a total of 125 yards.

Zimmer conceded that the Vikings should have been more committed to the run, according to ESPN. He also admitted that Peterson "probably should" have gotten more carries in Week 13.
