Yzerman stepping down as Canada's GM

Sochi, Russia (SportsNetwork.com) - Steve Yzerman has announced that he will not return as the executive director for Canada's Olympic squad in 2018.
The news came Sunday after Canada captured its second straight gold medal with a 3-0 victory over Sweden.
Yzerman was also the architect of the Canadian team that prevailed at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
