For many fans of the New York Yankees, having a Steinbrenner in charge of their club has been all they've known. George Steinbrenner bought the club in 1973 for $8.3 million and handed it over to his sons in 2008.

But despite Forbes Magazine recently valuing the team at $3.2 billion -- second in sports only to Real Madrid ($3.26 billion) -- Yankees general managing partner Hal Steinbrenner said his family is not looking to sell the team.

"This is a family business and we're all involved," Steinbrenner told ESPN, referring to siblings Hank, Jennifer and Jessica. "We all love being a part of this. We all know our dad wanted us to be a part of us, and we all know he's watching down on us and happy that we're all a part of it. Believe it or not, to us, that's a big deal. The idea is, let's keep it going."

Hal Steinbrenner told ESPN that there are already plans to have the next generation of Steinbrenners to take over when their time comes.

During the family's 43-year ownership, the Yankees have won 11 World Series titles.
