Wild, Haula agree to terms on two-year contract

The Minnesota Wild have agreed to terms with Erik Haula on a two-year contract.

The former Minnesota Gophers center tallied seven goals in 72 games with the Wild last season and one goal in two playoff contests. Haula knocked in six goals in 46 games in his rookie season with the club in 2013-14, plus four more in 13 playoff games.

The native of Finland was selected by the Wild in the seventh round (182nd overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He totaled 124 points in 114 games over three seasons with the University of Minnesota.
