Eighteen-year-old American qualifier Lauren Davis whipped the former world No. 12 Wickmayer, of Belgium, in 6-1, 6-1 fashion in 63 minutes on the indoor carpet at PEPS Laval University.
Third-seeded German Mona Barthel avoided a Day-3 upset by pasting Slovenian Petra Rampre 6-2, 6-1 in a mere 48 minutes.
Another second-round result saw French qualifier Kristina Mladenovic overcome German Annika Beck 4-6, 6-4, 6-3.
The 2012 Quebec champion will earn $37,000.
